DFS - Cooking on gas...

Hey,

Is anybody else feeling extremely confident with the exam in June?

This is my third sitting, the last being in 2005. After 3 years off, I seem to be flying through Technician. Looking forward to membership.

Not at all, I'm finding DFS really difficult to remember (my brain cells are probably too old!). It's not flowing at all.

I'm with you on that one Cath!
I keep going over things and it's almost as if they leave my head instantly!

I'm going to try really hard to get stuck into some revision this weekend.

I may attend the Birmingham day for DFS that Steve's arranging. It's going to cost £35-40 but that's cheap compared to some training days I've heard about. I really don't want to have to retake it.
  • Which bits are you struggling with?

    Hi Cath

Which thread did you find about Steve's DFS day, as I would be interested in attending but cannot see when/where exactly it is being held.

    Thanks

    Thanks Steve

I am interested in attending, I will need to check with hubby later as he is working a night shift that weekend so I will need to arrange childcare which may be a problem.

I'll get back to you asap

    Thanks

We only started studying this unit about 2 weeks ago and my tutor is so slooooooow, and uses the phrases "I'm not too sure" and "I don't really know" way more than is comfortable. I'm starting to panic that there's not going to be enough time to learn everything, never mind revise as well, seeing as there is only about 5 weeks to go to the exam. Thankfully this unit is pretty close to what I do at work anyway so I'm seriously thinking of quitting college and teaching myself, with the help of my AAT-qualified boss.
