differences in Units (11 & 13)

Hello all, I am thinking forward to next year and doing level 4. As I work in Local Govt my boss, reasonably I think, expects me to do Unit 13. Problem is that the College I have been studying at so far only offers Unit 11.
Could anyone let me know if there is alot extra if I was to "top up" Unit 11 to Unit 13 myself?
