simple calculation problem

hi i need to work out how to calculate debtors days in months and then be able to re- work the figs when it tells me to shorten the period.
eg
debtors 35040
turnover 560640 show in months???
then its shortened to 0.5 of a month ???
not sure whan im doing??

So your debtor days would be 35,040/560,640*12=0.75 months
And I take it you mean what would the debtors have to be to make it 0.5 months?
560,640/12*0.5 = 23,360
