If one unit takes 12 minutes, then they can do 5 per hour (60 mins / 12 mins)
550,000 units / 5 per hour = 110,000 hours0 -
Do you know how you get the figures for task 1.3 c?
£ per unit, margin per unit, and margin %?
Thanks0 -
Lucy
1.1c You take production quantity from 1.1b which is 393,000.
Material cost £1,650,600/393,000 unit produced = £4.20 each
1.1b Opening stock 4,000 units From operating statement
Produced 393,000 units Missing figure
closing stock (15,000) units From operating statement
Sold 382,000 units From operating statement
As you can see most of the information is on the operating statement, so you have to work out the missing figure.
Hope this helps
