Setting up as MIP

Hello

I am in the process of starting my business as MIP and would welcome any advice on good ways of advertising and gaining new clients. I am looking for sole traders and small businesses. I am in the process of setting up a web site and am having leaflets and business cards printed. Is there anything clever I have missed?

    Have you tried your council advertising web page its pretty cheap also free papers ect
