    Depends what you're making!

    Yield? (related to wastage)
    Total output in kg?
Percentage of output which is of saleable quality?

Three measures of physical output could be
    1. Weight for example kilograms
    2. Length for example metres
    3. Volume for example cubic metres

There are others such a litres but if you think about businesses that supply physical outputs rather than services I think you'll be able to add more.

Milk is sold by the litre
Chocolate sold by the bar, but each bar has a weight on it
Sand (not sandy!!) is sold by the yard (I think it is a square yard)
Clothes and shoes are sold by the unit (or pair)
