Small PEV notation question

When writing Adverse or Favourable variances are the examiners happy with F and A notation or do they expect us to label the F's and A's each time ? ie for each question I would have to end writing where F is Favourable and A means Adverse. Just seems timewasting to do so.

I think so it is enough to explain variances, if you look at answers, they used F & A for variances.

Yes F & A is acceptable (so long as you get them the right way round!)0
