Hi, I have to pay an employee redundancy at the end of this month and they want there P45 too, however the company is unable to pay the full redundancy amount at once and have agreed to pay half this month and half next month, anyone any thoughts on best way around this please? (the redundancy payment is not taxable)

Redundancy payments do not show on the P45 as they are non taxable, just complete the P45 with YTD earnings and the employee ends up being a creditor for the outstanding redundancy pay.0
