I dont understand Seasonal Variations...........
Im doing June 06 paper 1.2, and a bit confused. How What Why???
How did they get 6%?? And what does it show exactly?

ah i got caught with this one too
its the q4 fig divided by q1's figure gives 1.06 = 6%
when you look at the original sales volume and do the calculation for those figure you get 0.87 i think
0.87 + 0.13 = 1.00

also i have a calculation for it i just remembered from college
additive model - gives figure in £ form
y = t + s
and the proportionate model - gives figs in % form
y = t x s
in this case y = sales volume
s = seasonality
t = trend or the seasonally adjusted fig0
