pev benchmarking???

Just read in the guidance notes that we need to know about bench marking....anyone have any ideas on what this is????????

Benchmarks are all to do with comparing performance indicators with standards, targets or competitors.

'Benchmarks are standards or targets set for one or more areas of activity and should be related to what is important to the organisation'

There is a good explanation of benchmarking in PEV paper for Dec 05.
