Help please - PCR Dec 06 1.2 (b)

Hi Guys

Firstly, good luck to all of you taking exams this week!

Secondly, apologies if this question has already been asked and answered, I have looked but I couldn't find it being posted.

Ok, I am not very good at management accounts, so I have been disecting papers and going over and over them. Now maybe I have got to the stage where I can no longer see for looking - but can somebody please explain how the answer was derived for Dec 06 PCR question 1.2 (b). I know the sales figures but I have gone blank on all the rest! :blushing:
