I know this is a really stupid question and not one I should be asking at this stage! But is there a difference between revenue and income?
The way I see it is revenue is sales income and income refers to revenue plus any other gains such as profit on disposal. Or are they the same thing??

Yep thats correct, revenue comes from the day to day activites of the entity, eg. sales for a manufactoring company and fees for services from say a solicitors, and income includes revenue plus any revaluation of assets and any gains on assets sold, and any share capital increases, etc
Hope this helps:001_smile::001_smile:0 -
