We were told by our tutors that as long as you passed the 2 skills tests (simulations) then you could go onto level 4 and resit in December. Have since learned that you can re-sit exams before but they are computerised. Which is what I plan to do once the results are published. Pretty sure have failed both papers unless by some miracle the pass mark is lowered and a lot of people had a bad exam. Not sure where you take these re-sits yet though.

What would that say for the integrity of the qualification if people were artificially passed? So much negative thinking on this and some of the other FRA threads and none of you know you've failed yet unless you have very good inner self reasons to (i.e. lack of exam prep, lack of ability etc). Accountancy is a cerebral career and lateral thinking is often required; that's why it pays better than many other bog standard jobs, including sales.

To respond to the OP, some colleges will let you sit Technician with one exam outstanding but not any more than that. They are very proud and protective of their pass rates and feel that taking too many exams in one sitting is a recipe for disaster.

    Well said Blobbyh.

Lots of negativity kicking around about the FRA exam.

Noone knows until the results are out.
