Well we had flash floods yesterday and its really really warm here 28+ today0 -
Yes, it has been really unpleasantly warm and muggy for the last week or so. Clear blue skies at the moment. I spent the first half of last week in Norwich, and came down to Hertfordshire on Wednesday. (I don't like the heat)
I really should be jobhunting but between the scarcity of vacancies and the oppressiveness of the weather it's been really disheartening.0 -
It's just been pleasantly warm and sunny down here - in the low 20s, just about right for me. Could do with a drop of rain for the garden though.0
-
We have had rain through the night the last two nights but dry and greyish during the day. Yesterday the blue sky appeared in patches and it was warm but not particularly so. However very muggy at night.
Cloudy today and 16deg cent when i came in to work.0 -

Outskirts of Hamilton where I am is patchy sunny and warm, just called home to make sure son gets suntan lotion on if he is out playing, only to be told it is grey and overcast there. What a difference 25 miles makes.0
-
no air con massive window next to me on the top floor i think am going to cry AM WARM0
-
-
I think it's cooled a bit here - it definitely seemed warmer this morning. But since then, I have had a cooling shower and stopped tearing about the place like a blue-arsed fly tidying up.0
-
It's hot but it's cloudy and muggy to go with it, it's horrible!!0
-
Warm, Getting warmer, Hot, Boiling!!!!!!
Sounds like a game doesn't it???0 -
Just hit 30C where I am
Have AC at work, don't have that luxury at home though :001_unsure:0 -
aircon...........what dreams are made off ???0
-
I work from home and don't even have a fan in my office, although my door is open to the outside but doesn't feel any cooler in here, I nearly melted when I ventured outside to get the kids from school!
I don't cope with the heat and I am proud to say that I am lily white all year round, - I can't see the point in sunbathing.0 -
in bristol its 35 outside at the moment but very cloudy and grey.....
but a heatwave can be a mass of high temperature that moves very slowly and it has been like this for days now.....0 -
think there must of been rain at wimbledon as they have closed the roof on centre ?0
-
Well really hot in the West Midlands today. Just had storms and torrential rain but still quite warm.0

One of the ladies at my work was sitting outside at Lunchtime last week and a Seagull did its business all over her (It was a big Seagull). She came in yesterday and said that she'd won ยฃ140 at the Bingo on Friday Night! Well they do say its meant to be lucky!:laugh:0 -
