Sub-Contract Work

Hi all,
A question for sub contractors or accountants
I'm currently leaving my current employer and he has asked me to continue doing accounts prep work for him on a subcontract basis.
Just as a ballpark figure, what percentage of the fee would be the going rate?
Cheers, Adam

Hi Adam
Have a search through accountingweb's website. This has been asked quite a few times before and the percentages seem to vary wildly.
The fact that your boss has asked you to continue doing work suggests that they are impressed with what you do, so should be less likely to rip you off
I have only ever used subbies on an hourly rate - with mixed experienes!
