Season Ticket Loan - Tax code advice please

My friend has a query, and as I did not know the answer I thought that this would be the best place to post the question.

She has today been offered a job with a basic salary and an add on amount to pay towards her travelling costs.

She said that the extra amount she is allowed is £5365 to cover train travel excluding tubes or £6000 to cover train travel and tubes.

The company are classing it as a season ticket loan. Could someone kindly advise how this would affect her earnings.

I assume she would declare the extra on a P11D next year and her tax code would change, if someone is able to advise on this that would be great.
