Blanket Receipt

I have had a request for a blanket receipt for an order we are sending out. Can anyone tell me what exactly is a blanket receipt. :001_unsure: Is it something along the lines of a proforma invoice or delivery note.

i looked on google and this link tell you what a blanket purchase oreder is so i guess a blanket receipt is for this???
