Rather than simply give you the answer, hopefully I can guide you there for yourself.
Task 1.5 asksUse the data from task 1.4 to calculate the budgeted fixed overhead absorption rate for the manufacturing department for November- What was the total budgeted fixed overhead for the manufacturing department?
Next look at the 3 bullet points of data.- One is for budgeted direct labour hours, one actual direct labour hours, the third the material cost.
- Which of these is useful to try to find the BUDGETED fixed overhead absorption rate?
- Then divide your value from task 1.4 by your chosen amount to produce, the BUDGETED fixed overhead absorption rate on the basis of budgeted direct labour hours
I hope this sets you in the right direction. All the information is there, some of your own, some in the additional data for the task.Sandy

hello
thank you so how i calculated it was
Manufact. Overheads / budget Hours =
12000 £ / 20000 h = 0.60 £
so to get the answer 1.6 Manufactor Dep. Overheards
i divided 0.60 £ by the hours worked 12000 h gives me 7200 £
so my Doll cost is 3.455555 = 3.41 £
is that right ??? im so confused
many thanks in advance0 -
I'm sorry
I'm not going to be in college until next Tuesday, so unless you can either point me in the direction of the question or type it up I won't be able to help at the moment.Sandy
