I am a diploma pathway homestudy student, I am going to do all the exams (3 units) of diploma level in December, I want to choose a easier one between Unit 18 business taxiation and unit 19 personal taxiation. I know It should be considered with the future plan of study( ACCA or CIMA), but I want to pass AAT as soon as possible so I can find a job first then decide which one I am going to take. Anyone here studied those two unit can give me some advice? Thanks!

Personally I found business taxation easier than personal taxation, but everyone else I've ever spoken to has found personal taxation easier. But TBH there's so much overlap between them that you may as well do both!0

I took both in June (so hoping for 2 passes in August) and I think Personal Tax is marginally easier because most people already have some knowledge of the PAYE system.
Also doing both I did get a bit confused at times trying to remember which bits went where!0 -
thank you for you replies.0
