Has anyone tried Appelkorn?..........................Well don't!

We were at a Bbq on Saturday Night and someone had a Bottle of this stuff they'd got in Germany. Apparently you drink it like shots but after two I cant remember a thing. Have been ill since but my other half says its all the Vodka I had but I have never suffered like this on Vodka before so blaming the Appelkorn! Does anyone know of this potent drink?

    I was told that it is similar to Sambuca so wasnt too keen but it was nothing like it. If you like Cider you will like the taste but believe me it is potent! One is enough dont go for anymore than that or you will have a mind blank!:laugh:

    there is a website which tells you how to make it.....long winded thou.

    Sounds like a sensible child staying in there for as long as s/he can - it's downhill all the way once you're out.

    The stuff I had was from Germany but that's a bit far to go. Someone told me that you can get it in Lidl! Let me know if you get some and how you get on with it.:001_smile:

    im not into the vodka stuff . so dont think i be trying that in a hurry, im a bit of a southern comfort man !!
