Industry to practice

I have worked in Industry for the past 4 years and will be finishing my AAT next June.

I really want to work in a practice once I have finished where I can progress to being chartered.

I am in the process of writing to a few practices in my area to see if they could offer me a job next June, I know industry it is frowned upon by practice accountants, does anyone have any ideas of points I could put in my letter to convince them that I can do the job? Or is this going to be a complete lost cause?

We are in the same boat:001_smile:....have been in contact with one recently, the principal was very interested in my CV but has decided to postpone new employment until better times (thank you recession......), so fingers crossed....have also sent CVs to others but negative responses so far....... let's stay positive, maybe when we are fully qualified, will be easier.......:confused1:
I have sent you a private message by the way a couple of weeks ago....
