Sorry!

But i just found this on the ACCA website

AAT candidates benefit from an extended deadline for claiming exemptions – 28 February for the June exams and 31 August for the December exams. You can either submit an official copy of your AAT Certificates and Statements of Achievements to ACCA or you can ask AAT to send the results directly to ACCA.

Does this mean that even though i wont finish my last unit till next week i could do the first set of ACCA exams in Dec 09??

Thanks

when I started, I finished unit 10 after the exam results but before the deadline for exemptions and I managed to start in the December.

However I had to badger my college to get the result to AAT and AAT to fax my statement of achievement to me to be able to get my forms in.

ha sounds familiar, i have asked twice now but no such luck, i think i will just have to settle with June 2010. It is silly how they have organised the timetable though, so we finish just AFTER the deadline...silly!

I didn't know that they'd got an extended deadline for AAT students, but yesterday I was on their website & saw the closing date as August 15th, & thought just the same as you... plain silly. I was wondering how many AAT students get their results on 17/8 & have to wait 363 days before applying!
