MAS Project (Old Standards)

System

I am about to embark on choosing a topic for my project but am concerned about picking something that will not be able to cover all of the criteria. <BR><BR>In particular the prevention of fraud in an accounting system seems to be my stumbling block because I work in local government and Internal Audit procedures already exist to prevent fraud. I am not confident about coming up with something which hasn't been thought of before.<BR><BR>Can I simply state what procedures are currently in place or do I have to come up with something new ?<BR><BR>Up til now my college tutor has been simply marking my work and (belatedly) getting back to me with very few comments. I fear that there will be a lot of time spent sending work to my tutor, getting it back and changing it etc. I hope to minimise the amount of times I will need to submit to my tutor because I need to complete this by the end of October.<BR><BR>Any comments / direction with regards to the project as a whole would be greatly appreciated.
