I have a client who is purchasing a business premises under a Partnership to rent back to his Ltd company.
I know he has to pay stamp duty on the purchase via the Partnership but does he have to pay stamp duty on the lease via the Ltd company? He will only be renting the premises and not buying a leasehold.
Many thanks for any advice.
