i know they should show the answers . but if you have the answers you should be able to work backwards to how they got the answer , as there will be only one way they would have been able to get it ?

    2.2
    a)
    Savings on Material = 1,200,00 * £0.5 = £600,000
    Increase in Selling Price = 1,200,000 * £1 = £1,200,000
    Savings in distribution = £600,000

    Total Increase Profit = £2,400,000

    b) =2,400,000 (As above) / 3,000,000 *100 = 80%

Thank you Chris, for all your answers!!! I will now crack on and hopefully get this in the bag Dec!!

I do have one last question tho....

2.3 Discounted lifecycle cost - purchasing
year 5 is 160000, is this the selling price less the running costs????

    Yep, Correct!

Each year is basically the inflow/outflow of cash. So all income, less outgoings from it!
