is it possible to change from dipolma to nvq

in AAT Level 3 (Level 6 in Scotland)
i am currently study advance diploma, hopefully finish this level in dec, thinking to change to nvq in level 4 next year, is it possible?

    Could I enquire why you want to change. I have just signed up for Diploma route via distance learning as I do not currently work in accounts and I was told I should do this - I hope to go on to ACCA after.

    I recently discovered that UCAS (points for entry to university) only recognise NVQ route and I am beginning to wonder if NVQ is more sought after than Diploma. I am only 18 and was hoping that Diploma would be a start to a career in accountancy without having to go to uni.

    Various reasons, but some colleges run NVQ some Diploma, so the choice of college can be an influence.

    There is some discussion about NVQ being more vigorously examined, the syllabus is slightly different.

    I was actually advised by my tutor to change from nvq to diploma....

    as far as i can see Dipolma route is reconised

    I dont mean to disagree with you A-Vic but I do not think AAT diploma does count see attached

    Advanced Diploma
    Advanced Diploma = Progression Diploma plus Additional & Specialist Learning (ASL). Please see the appropriate qualification to calculate the ASL score. ASL has a maximum Tariff score of 140. Please see the Progression Diploma table for Tariff scores.

    I think only the AAT NVQ level 3 counts for UCAS not the diploma:001_unsure:

    but considering most of us seem to be going on to acca, cime etc, it doesnt matter anout the ucas points as we dont need them
