Hi

Has anybody done this course? I am lead to believe that if we have passed Technician Level then it's only a 1 year course and there are no exams at the end. Is this correct and is it worth it?

Hiya, Im currently doing the FD in NHS Finance (because I work in the NHS), which you can do when you have completed AAT Technician. Yep it's a 12 month course with no exams which is what attracted me.

Im studying through Northampton Uni (distance learning) and am really enjoying it! Theres a lot more than just finance to it (HR, project working, work based learning etc...). Ive found it to be a really useful and rewarding course!

I am going to be doing the AAT level 4 Diploma, 2 year part time course and consists of Unit 10, 17,18,33 and 10. Is this not the foundation degree?

If Unit 10 is still the project, then no. I think you are Technician Level. The Foundation degree can be done over 12 months distance learning once Level 4 is completed.
