Hello ,
I have a problem if I need to convert currency yearly. A house in France bought on 1992 for an Xamount in Francs. Euro currency was implemented in 2002 in France.
The property was sold on 30th March 2008 (Can not avail the 18& CGT tho!) in France. In filing the CGT in the UK, do I have to convert the currency on a yearly basis to show the changes on the exchange rate?? or rate that I should use to convert francs to GBP is on the time of disposal?? Your help is greatly appreciated
Thank you
