Help understanding Current Year Relief, Carry Back Relief and Carry Forward Relief...

Hi all,

Would someone be so kind as to help me understand when I should use the correct relief?

I am using the Kaplan book, but still having trouble working out which relief should be used when?!

Has someone got an easy method they could share?

hi

cf relief is automatically given if the other 2 are not claimed.

to claim cb relief u have to claim current period relief.

so
- just cf
- current , cb and if required cf
-current and cf
