Piece work solution needed
Employee Time rate Hours worked Standard hour output Actual production
N.Ball £8.00 per hour 35 30 units 1010 units0 -
I assume
Employee N.Ball
Time rate £8.00 per hour
Hours worked 35
Standard hour output 30 units
Actual production 1010 units
On this basis N. Ball produced 1010/30 = 33.67 standard hours
To know the piece rate payable we would need to know the rate paid for every standard hour produced.
If the £8/hr rate is based on standard hours produce:
33.67 standard hours x £8.00 per hour = £269.33
See how I ignored the actual hours worked.Sandy
