IAS Pocket Guide / What to revise??

The Osbourne Book says that www.pwc.co.uk (pricewaterhouseCoopers) has a pocket guide to download, but I have tried typing IAS pocket Guide into the search option, it brings up a page with some mention of the pocket guide but I cannot find the actual downloadable bit???

Anyone else found it?

Also how much revision on the standards is require?? Any help/advise welcome.

Hi,

The link provided by londina is IFRSSME which is a condensed version of IFRS and is designed for small/medium companies which the UK is currently considering.

Some of IFRSSME is simplified from that of IFRS and contains slightly different rules than IFRS (e.g. amortisation of goodwill is permitted in IFRSSME over a maximum of 10 years but not in IFRS), so be careful on relying too much on this as you will be examined under IFRS, not IFRSSME.
