Probity

Hiya guys and gals.
Have a quick query. I'm going for a job interview tomorrow. Just brushing up on all the Job Description and Person Spec, etc. The role is Assistant Accountant at a local college. One of the sections of job description is 'Probity' - Production of Probity statements. I haven't come across this in the past but having a look in the dictionary defines Probity as 'integrity, honesty'. So can I assume Probity is kind of like an internal audit - ensuring practises are being followed truthfully, etc. Can anyone shine some more light on this?
Cheers
