how to work out the cost per unit? and direct material cost? there wasn't enough info.0

cost per unit= 8x 2.5?0

I did it as follows:
Demand per month = 3000 x 2.5litres = 7500 x £8/litre = £60,000 divide that by the units (3000) to get £20
Contribution is then calculated as £100 Selling Price less the Variable Costs £50 to make it £50.
