Ofsted Registered Childminder - anything to be aware of?

Hi i have a prospective client who is a registered childminder and OFSTED appreoved they currently work from their private premises but are looking to build new premises for the business. Does anyone know if there is anything i need to look out for or any special rules that apply for this type of business? Never done a childminders accounts before. Many thanks Linda

If I remember rightly the national childminding association does quite a good list of things for child minders to claim - it might be worth having a look at.0

I know there are agreed percentages of household expenses such as water rates, council tax, gas/elec that can be claimed based on the number of hours per week that the childminder works.0
