I've finally booked 2 weeks in egypt, but does anyone know where to buy loose, appropriate cotton clothing for women from?

You will/should love it! It is a brilliant country with lovely people. I got plenty of suitable clothes really cheap at matalan when I went.

You can buy specialist sun resistent clothing from specialist travel/walking shops which isn't cheap, but we found it very useful and because it drys very quickly you can get by with less clothes. We spent two weeks based in Luxor last July (it was brilliant) I would recomend decent kit if you planning to be active e.g site seeing, camels, temples, tombs etc.

As Matt says you can buy specialist clothing from travel outdoor shops, I find Columbia's shorts and trousers a nice fit.

When you say suitable I presume you're referring to the the fact that Egypt's a muslim country. While out and about in Luxor and Cairo it's best to cover up, cropped trousers would be ok, but while you're in the hotel grounds and in Hurghada you'll be fine in shorts.

I'm sure you'll find something come spring, after all you've plenty of time.

Have a great holiday it's a wonderful place, I've been several times and wish I was coming with you!
