Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience of securing funding in terms of applying for grants from for example the 'Big Lottery'? (National Lottery money)
Can anyone offer me any advice on how to maximise the chances of a successful grant application please??
Cheers

For most types of grant there will usually be a detailed application form and some supporting notes as to how to fill in the forms. The most important thing is to make sure that you complete the forms exactly as they want and comply with any restrictions on the funding that they may impose. Remember that there may be hundreds of applications and that any that have not been filled in correctly are likely to be rejected. There are often questions like "do you need two signatures for each cheque" - that means if you only need one it is probably best to change it so your organisation needs two. Make sure the form is neet with no spelling mistakes and that it reads well.0
