confused Pev material price variance

i was thinking how to do it

production units are 12000 units
materials are 8 kg @ 1.50 per kg

n they also say that bugested sales price has been calculated to giv a profit of 25% of sales price

how to calculate material price variance ????
would really appericiate the help

I would say that the sales price is £16 if the only cost is materials, but to calculate the material price variance they must give you some detail on actual costs??
