Directorships

Is there any cheap or free way of finding out what directorships a person holds? I have found on checksure.biz that a potential client holds 6 when it should be 2, I don't really want to spend £10.95 if the lead falls flat. As I am just starting out and only have a few clients.
Thanks

You go through the Companies House Direct section, this is a monthly subscription service at £5 per month, well worth the small fee for what information you can access0
