Looking for Voluntary work

Hi eveyone,
I am new to the forum and have read many of the posts with great interest.
I am looking to do some voluntary work one or two days a week, I am a qualified bookkeeper and am now studying the AAT but would like to gain some expereince in the real world as they say.
I am based in Essex and wondered whether anyone had any advice on which sectors to approach or whether anyone knew of any possible positions.
