Just a post for reassurance!!
I am sitting PEV, PCR & DFS next week, I took the proactive approach of going through past exams papers weeks ago, which I was fine! I also took revision courses with BPP the last couple of weeks.
I then took this week off of work to put everything together and make my self feel confident, however I seem to be back peddling!! I keep trying to look at the past exam papers but can remember most of the answers, so it really isnt helping me!! I seem to be losing confidence rapidly, and have built up this certainty in my head that I will fail...with exams coming very quickly it is making me panic! All I have on my mind is the exams, which makes me keep looking at text books, but nothing is going in!!!! Is anyone else feeling like this?? I just want them out the way with now...

I think many can regognize that feeling, I certainly do. I only take PEV and PCR and already had that stage for a bit, not able to get out of it. The thing that worked for me was to put it all away, relax for a bit, reread all my notes (as I'm doing the online study bit, I made notes for myself out of the books, rather than classes) and then instead of doing full papers, I focussed on a few of the weak points first and then did a new paper. It seemed to work for me!
Although then I made the mistake of reading stuff here and working myself up in a worry about nothing, so maybe I should stay away from the forums for a bit as well!
I'm not sure if that helps, since it's all going very quick now, and considering it's 9 in the evening on a Saturday, I think I should be out partying, instead of indoors with studybooks, but...
I'm sure you will do fine though, as you said you did a lot the past exams weeks ago and you went to the revision courses!0 -
Hi Rinske,
Thank you for the reassurance. I also agree that part of the problem stemmed from reading the forums. After reading other peoples problems you start to question whether you have the same issues!!
I think I will try to relax for the rest of the night, and to just watch a film to take my mind off it, having said that I am sure it will result in me feeling bad and trying to read revision notes and watch a film!
Anyways...just needed to get that off my chest! Good luck, I hope it all goes well!0 -
Good luck to you too!
I hope it all goes well for you too and you got to relax a bit in the evening in the end! After posting the message I decided to stop studying, relax a little and watch a movie or something alike as well. Still I should have been out partying, but having a hangover on the Sunday before the exams really didn't seem like a good idea!0
