Unit ten first person?

Hi all just trying to take my mind off todays exam and found myself continuing unit ten the one thing as it is based on my working enviroment i am finding it more and more difficult to write in the thrid person how can you avoid it?

    I agree it is hard, i managed by viewing it as an external consultant, I found that also helped me see beyond the office politics and personal feelings.

    so also insted of names of emplyees in the firm would you give their job title, like admin assistant?

    I used the job titles or just the clerk or the employee

    I also used the job title, the employee/s and employer

    once you get into the right frame of mind it will just flow. Mine did.

    Practice it!

    Writing in the third person, and the passive voice, helps to place the writer in the position of neutral observer. There is nothing wrong the names of those in the workplace being given, except perhaps for privacy purposes. As Greycow said, third person perspective makes the observer appear outside the situation being written about.

    The impression that personal feelings are not clouding the analysis is also given. The effectiveness of this is debateable. Fortunately the AAT is not overly concerned with the subject-object problem and other philosophical questions.

    I understand what you mean, and there's some good advise here. I looked at it in terms of positions, not people, so from that aspect you should find it easier, maybe.
