ahhhh cant find this in my revision, anyone still up and can help? i saw here earlier someone say its quite likely to be in the exam!!

    Quick rules - missing any that do not apply - ignore spelling - very tired.

    Only applies to the same type of share.

    1) If you dispose of some shares and buy some on the same day - one cancels out the other

    2) Shares brought within 1 mth of some being disposed of - they cancel each other out.

    3) All other shares disposed off that cannot be matched gets entered in the FA 2008 pool.

    PS - NO ONE knows what is in the exam apart from the writer and maybe the company that printed it!

    This is quite old now but I think the method is still the same though some of the figures will probably be out of date.
