tonights the night

I dust off my books and make a start on DFS (again) and maybe a tax exam.

Any one else started already?

I have just started DFS and am hoping to sit this and PTC in June. Have you already done DFS cause you've put (again)?

Good luck - I start back at college tomorrow to do DFS(snowed off last week) and am dreading it! I hated FRA and think I will struggle with this too! Luckily this is my last subject now (apart from a business tax retake!) x

I can understand why. I feel like crying already as although I get the basics from FRA this is sooo much more difficult and I have only read Chapters 1,2 and 3!

    What a nightmare

i am just going to read and reread my book, whilst making notes. i am printing off past exams as we speak, but i am not going back too far as some of the ias's etc have changed.

if you go back in the forum you will see loads of posts for dfs, i am going through those and making notes to.

i have also decided to do personal tax as one of my friends has asked me to do her tax return, i have declined her this time and passed it on to someone else, but next time i am hoping i will be able to do them (sorry FG!!)

I am getting all confused as I sat and typed out the Income Statement and Statement of Financial Position on Excel only to turn the page to see a tutorial note saying that the layout is changing in the June 2010 Exam. How are we going to be able to practice past exam papers if the layout has changed?

if you log into your aat and then go onto the technician stage, click for unit 11 and at the bottom there are 3 links for guidance.

i have attached the one i think is most relevant
