I'm doing diploma route, just have MAC and project to do, providing I get a pass for DFS next month.
I'm employed 3 days a week and run my own small practice the rest of the time. Had problems getting to work this morning so phoned in and said I'd work Friday instead so working from home today. Gradually ticking those tax returns off, only 11 to file0 -

Don't get overtime and jobs just have to be done..
Part & parcel of the job around Jan time tbh...
Think we've 500 odd returns still to lodge lol!0 -
This!
Did over 44 hours last week over 4 days! Only get paid for 35 too
I got called a lightweight this week for "only" putting in ten hours of overtime. I don't work in practice, I work in industry and this is trying to sort out an utter mess of an Accounts Payable function. Next week I'm going for as many hours as I can cope with without feeling too utterly burned out to be functional. I probably shouldn't tell you that I get paid for all my overtime though, so I won't. Hang on...
Incidentally, is it me being thick or are "Accounts Payable" and "Purchase Ledger" interchangeable, especially in terms of a person's job title?0 -
