Hello all... I have past the DNP exam and now apparently there is a skills test to go with it, does anyone know what kind of layout I can expect to see of it, or is it pretty much the same as the examination'pointless in this case'?
Please get back to me with answers if anyone knows of them
Also, I am not working in payroll at the moment but I am looking to get the units for a)health and safety and b)achieving personal effectiveness out of the way regardless, can this be done?
I would appreciate any feedback to my queries
Thank you

Monsuraat,
Oh, controversial from the start. I'm not sure I can agree that the skills test, if it is similar to the exam, might be pointless though I can fully appreciate that thought.
Remember that the examination will cover just a few areas of the standards but places you in a position where you have to think on your feet, a lot! The skills test explores those areas in a lot more detail and covers all the other areas of the standards.
Unlike non NVQ programmes this has to cover every aspect of the standards, one way or another and many employers like that, they know that aat students have been tested on everything whereas others programmes do not.

Thank you for that reply, and I would agree having done the examination that it does cover everything from units 71 through to 73 but in certain detail in some areas and generally or not at all in others.
It makes it a bit easier now just focussing on the unit 73.
Thank you again
