Help in Unit 10, please!!

Hello.

I have started unit 10 from December, however I have not yet finished the introduction. I have looked at the AAT website and the text book but I still do not know what to write.

In the section for "coordinate work activities within accounting environment", what does they actually mean? I understand the phrase word by word, but what does this mean as a whole?
Also there are many parts that I need to cover within this section, one of which is to "ensure all criteria are met". What are these criterias? I have asked my tutor to show me an example of the work however he was not helpful in this, so someone pleaqse help me with this as I am struggling.

when I did my project, I researched into job description of every one working in the accounts department. ( this was put into the project appendix). On the job description all the work was listed, for example, a purchase ledger clerk.

I described the work activities of the purchase ledger clerk making sure that 1 would cover 3 performance criterias and matching them with the job description, referenced against the appendix document.

Pc10.1A Plan work activities to make the optimum use of resources and to ensure that work is completed within agreed timescales.

eg Marry the supplier's invoices with the delivery note, goods received note and purchase order.


PC10.1D Communicate work methods and schedules to colleagues in ways that help them to understand what is expected of them.

How did the purchase clerk know that he had to carry the above activity.


As a part of his job description, he had to collect all the supplier's invoices from the post room and process them.



PC10,1E Monitor work activities sufficiently closely to ensure that quality standards are being met

Once the clerk has confirmed and signed off the invoice that it matched with PO, Del note and GRN, the invoice is passed on to his supervisor who will double check and authorise the invoice to post on the computer.


I think by describing the above process you will have "coordinated work activities within Purchase Ledger"
