Hi everyone,
If you are a VAT registered organisation where some of the activities that you supply are exempt, does the invoice that you send to the customer have to have your VAT number on it even though you are not charging any VAT.

Yes!
However you will need to clearly identify the type of supply on the inoice.
For example:
A motor car repair invoice will show:
parts ( std rated supply)
labour (Std rated supply)
MOT (exempt supply).
The same invoice is used (pre-printed with the VAT regn number) when the customer is invoiced for only MOT
