VAT Authorisations

Has anyone else had problems with HMRC sending repeated codes when requesting authorisation to file VAT on line on behalf of clients ?

One client has so far had 18 letters in 2 weeks, all with the same autorisation code.

    I would settle for just one of each of the codes I have requested!!

    Yes, my Clients are having the same problem - not sure I can beat your record of 18 yet though!

    I have started to warn my clients they are likely to receive several copies.

    My client informs me that we are now up to 22 authorisation letters. Is this a record ?

    I have received tenth copy today....how many more ??
    Hmrc is a long way away from going paperless so it seems...!

    Has anyone else received warnings that the authorisation code for Clients is about to expire despite the fact the code has been entered and the Client has been showing in the authorised list for at least a week before the warning email was received?
