Hi, I think its down to personal preference and what kind of job role you have already.
I work in Manufacturing so did MAC first as its more like what I do than DFS. It was mega hard work but it paid off as i've passed first time.
I've done some of the planning Kaplan require for Unit 10 but not alot.
DFS I looked at briefly and found mind blowing as I don't work in Financial Accounting I thought I would leave that for a bit. Im hoping to take exams for both taxes in June and then DFS December.
Im just about to start chapter 7 of Business tax in my kaplan book and hate to admit it but...........Im loving it (I know sad eh). Its not easy by any means but finding it interesting makes studying so much easier.
Good luck with which ever you decide.

AWS is Accounting Work Skills - Unit 31. If like me you started at intermediate level then you have to do this unit as you didnt do foundation.0

sylloble change
thanks guys for your reply, think i will do both tax exams in June,so, if i did failed, could always resit in Dec. i was bit worried about the sylloble changing next June! just want to make sure i've passed all exams before that!! does anyone know what will happen if i'll take exams next june(if i failed my dec exams!) and at the same time, the sylloble will be changed too, does my June result will be ok just before the changing or not?0 -

We were told at college there will be a way to supplement not that i know what that means0 -
Life is hard, working is hard, but if you overcome certain difficulties the payback is you often get back what you were prepared to put in. Instead of doing the easiest modules simply to pass the qualification, I'd advise choosing the modules most suitable to you and which you may get the most benefit out of for the next one to five years in your career.0
