Fuel Scale Charges

The fuel scale charge applies to all business cars which are used for private motoring, what if the private motoring is a very small percentage, ie 5% does the full scale charge for the car's co2 emmision still apply?

Ah, found what I'd been looking for. Either recover vat and pay fuel scale charge regardless of private use %; keep detailed records to spilt business and private use and recover business proportion; or recover no vat and avoid the fuel scale charge
